Ernesto "Che" Guevera (1928-1967) was an Argentine-born Cuban revolutionary. Along with Fidel Castro, he was a key figure in the Cuban revolution. He helped transform Cuba's healthcare and education system into one of the best in the world today. His influence has transcended the past being a popular culture symbol of revolution and anti-imperialism. Being a trained physician his radical ideology began to form when he traveled across Argentina. After witnessing much injustice and poverty he began to see capitalism and the American influence as a problem. Devoting his whole life to the people Che Guevera fought for his vision of a equitable society and achieved it.
